We only teach authentic Lindy Hop - our beginners class is called Swing because The Lindy Hop is the original Swing dance. All our beginners steps are based on six-count Lindy Hop steps - not modern jive. It is the most fun and the beginners steps are really quite easy to learn.
The Lindy Hop has now become a name in dance that people recognize, this is thanks to programs on the BBC such as Strictly Dance Fever which has made The Lindy Hop a compulsory dance for it's competitors.
Whoever you are, if you are between the ages of 8 and 80; whether you've never danced before or whether you are a very experienced Lindy Hop dancer; if you want to learn or improve your jive dancing, swing dancing or The Lindy Hop come and dance with us!

We are going to run our Swinging Vegas Dance in 2026
(The 22nd Edition)
Everyone' had us retired (or dead) but we have been waiting and watching and hoping that maybe something would come along to invigorate us and inspire us.
The inspiration is (and always has been our son James)
'Swinging Vegas' is a dance - There will be a raffle - there maybe a cabaret, there will be superb music, there will be an atmosphere 2nd to none, there will be maximum effort, there will be good dancing, there will be nice people and there will be other stuff.

James is now moving from Meningitis Survivor to Meningitis Fundraiser by Running the London Marathon 2027Grand Total for all our charity work so far = £96,858,97We have not stated a date for resuming our weekly classes in 2024 as we are going to take a break from the weekly classes and regular dances at the moment.
