Born in Gloucester, England I live with my wife Sara and our son James. I have a full time job as a Communications engineer. I started swing dancing in late 1996 and have been teaching since 1999. I have been dj'ing at dances since 1998 and am known as 'The Duke' behind the decks. Top jive DJ Jon Brett gave me the name, It comes from the song 'Swinging with the Duke'. Away from dance I am a great collecter of music, especially of the 'Swing' & "Punk" eras. Once a punk, always a punk!
Born in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire . I Live with Gary and our son James and I work full time. Gary and I started dancing and teaching together, and it has become a life changing experience. We share the passion for dancing and also the ups and downs that seem to go with it. We have been fortunate enough to meet the most fantastic people whilst dancing, teaching and travelling, they make it all worthwhile. We were thrilled to win the coveted title of "UK Open Lindy Hop Champions 2004/2005". Are classes are great fun and we meet loads of great people.
Born in Anglesey a long time ago!. I settled in Gloucester in 1990 with my husband Stuart and our sons Ritchie & Michael. I work in a top salon in Cheltenham as a Director Stylist. Gary & Sara taught Stuart and me to dance in 2000 and we have enjoyed it ever since. I have been teaching beginners with Gary for 12 years and now teach the improvers class with Stuart. I thoroughly enjoy the teaching side especially as when I started, I wasn't a natural dancer.
Born in Leicester I moved to Gloucestershire whilst serving in the Royal Airforce where I obtained the rank of Sergeant. Like s lot of leaders I was dragged to dance classes by my wife Jess but immediately loved it. I've been taught by all the top teachers worldwide such as Frankie Manning, Ryan Francois and Peter Loggins. Gary and Sara invited us to join Boony's Lindy Hoppers several years ago where we enjoyed successfully performing in Britain’s Got Talent and the first two series of Got To Dance. In 2016 I started teaching improvers along with my wife Jess.
I was born in Newent and still live there to this day, with my husband Mark. I've always loved dancing and thought it would be something cool to learn, over 8 years later I still love it! Mark and I have particularly enjoyed performing and have been in the Swinging Vegas cabaret on numerous occasions. In 2016 I helped out teaching when Jess was out of action and now teach beginners regularly with Gary.
